For families to receive services from Recycling Furniture for Families:
- They must be a current client of an approved local social service organization, ministry, or church.
- As a clients of an approved organization, they should discuss their need with their caseworker and request a referral.
- If qualified, their caseworker will fax a referral to RFF (only faxed referrals are accepted).
- Upon referral, they will receive a copy of the Client Agreement for Receiving Services form and the What to Expect Regarding RFF Service flyer from their caseworker.
- In most cases, it normally takes 24-48 hours to process and approve the referral. A referred client who has not heard back from us within 48 hours, should contact their referring caseworker.
- Once a referral is approved, RFF contacts the client and schedules an appointment.
Recycling Furniture for Families operates on a referral basis only. Walk-ins are not accepted. Additionally, RFF does not sell donated items to the general public.
